BİZERO / OUR STORY
From campus to city
We design for more accessible urban living. Our starting point is always the same: solving a real problem people face every day.
A PROBLEM → A JOURNEY → A VISION
2017 · A journey that began on campus
Founded by Mehmet Akıncılar while studying physics at Boğaziçi Üniversitesi, BİZERO set out to make travel between campuses easier through electric bicycle sharing. The first ten bicycles entered service on the South and North campuses in September 2017, bringing the idea into everyday life.
2018 · Design guided by users
Within a year, the sharing service expanded to İTÜ and Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi. Maintenance and usage needs informed new bicycle designs, leading to Bizero II, Türkiye’s first original electric bicycle design.
2021 · Türkiye’s first electric bicycle delivery service
BİZERO continued its mobility development with load-carrying electric bicycles for short-distance deliveries.
Today · Bizero IV
The culmination of our ten-year journey developing bicycles for delivery and transport, Bizero IV features a modular design using additive manufacturing and 3D printing. Its four-wheel layout offers stable, tip-resistant riding, while its enclosed configuration enables year-round use. Solar panels also support daily riding without the need for charging.
Tomorrow · A more accessible city
Our vision is to develop vehicles that make everyday travel easier: compact solutions that adapt to different needs and harness renewable energy, becoming a natural part of daily life.
